SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS SEEKING TO STUDY ABROAD

Based on applications received for the PhD Programme by 13 June 2014, the Law Faculty at University College Cork will offer up to three scholarships to support full-time PhD research on an area of law of the candidate's choice, subject to available supervision. These scholarships will be valued at €12,000 per annum (which must cover both fees of €5,770 and subsistence). The studentships are tenable for up to 3 years, although renewal each year is contingent on demonstration of adequate progress. Holders will be required to deliver tutorials to undergraduate students, and to apply to any external scholarship schemes relevant to their research project (e.g. IRC). College of Business and Law Research Masters Scholarship Based on applications received for the LLM by Research by 13 June 2014, the College of Business and Law may offer a scholarship valued at €5,770 (EU Fee for the LLM by Research). It will be tenable for one year and is non-renewable. Applications will be assessed by the Law Faculty's Graduate Studies Committee. The Ronan Daly Jermyn Scholarship (Research Masters in Law) Based on applications received for the LLM by Research by 13 June 2014, the Ronan Daly Jermyn Scholarship may be awarded to one student conducting research in the broad area of business law. The scholarship is valued at €7,500 and is tenable for one year and is non-renewable. Applications will be assessed by the Law Faculty's Graduate Studies Committee.
